About My Practice

I'm a seminary trained, theologically oriented mental health professional. Sounds stuffy, doesn't it? Okay, I'm licensed by the State of Florida as a Mental Health Counselor, a National  Board Certified Counselor, member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and Board Certified as a Christian Counselor. I'm active in both secular and Christian counseling organizations locally.  All that stuff looks good on my wall, but it doesn't say much about why and how I might be able to help you. Let's put it this way....I'm a "solution detective" that takes seriously the time and money people spend wiith me.  Most of my clients want solutions to the challenges they face, a sense of direction for the paths God has given them to walk, and help over the rough spots that bog them down. My clients want help for their stress, anxiety, depression and life situations.  They want relief for their kids, teens and familiies. Fees

At MSCCS we are a fee-for-service professional office. That means we do not advertise or align with any Insurance Panels, nor do we file your insurance claims.  We discount our rates compared to many of our fine collegues in the area just for that reason. Most of them will file your insurance for you but have to charge a little more to offset the delays in reimbursement and expenses associated with insurance companies and HMO's.  (We are happy to give you a suitable services document that most insurance companies will accept when you file with them for reimbursement)

My fees are as follows:

     $100.00 / session Couples

     $  80.00 / session Individual

I take MasterCard, Visa, Discover, most Debit Cards, checks and cash.
